5 cops killed in Maguindanao del Sur ambush

COTABATO CITY, BARMM, Philippines — Five police officers were killed while three others were injured in an ambush along Barangay Mother Poblacion of Shariff Aguak town, Maguindanao del Sur province, at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. Captain Steffi Salanguit, spokesperson for the Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (Probar), confirmed that the five policemen were declared dead upon arrival in the hospital while three others survived.
