Sinag Maynila 2026: ‘Pinikas’ dominates with 7 wins, including Best Film

A loud cry of exhilaration was heard from the cast and production team of “Pinikas,” after it was declared as the Best Film of the 2026 edition of the Sinag Maynila Film Festival, along with six other awards. A Chris Fuego-helmed film “almost six years in the making,” its producers said that “Pinikas” was made with a labor of love by a production team composed of creatives from the Visayas and Mindanao.
